One of the most common signs of battle in the grappling world is the cauliflower ear. This is a badge of honor among some grapplers, but to the majority of people this is nothing more then a painful deformation of the ears, and the thought of getting the fluid sucked out of your ears with a needle doesn't excite anyone.
