Silverback Training Headgear

Our Silverback Training headgear offers the most protection you can get without having to go to a facesaver or caged headgear. This headgear is unique and you will not find anything like it anywhere in the world. We took the time and researched the best most protective headgears on the market today and tried to make something better, and this is what we came up with.

Thick Full Grain cowhide leather for superior durability

Grey Imported Japanese Amara Inner linner, which is soft comfortable, non slip and easy to clean

Thick super shock pad.

Just under 2inches of protection on forehead to really absorb the impact from straight line strikes

Over 1.75inches of protection on cheeks to keep your face looking pretty after hrs of hard sparring

Over 1.75 inches of padding on the sides of the head to better absorb hook line punches and kicks

1/4inch of padding on the top of the head

The Cheek protectors are angled down at 45 degrees so you don't sacrifice visibility

Larger mexican style cheek protectors that offer greater protection for the jawline.

Padded velcro strap on the top and the rear of headgear to make securing the headgear quick and hassle free.

How to measure your head

Measure around your head, with a flexible measuring tape for the best results

Be sure go around the widest part of your head so the tape should be located just about your brow on the front and halfway on your occipital bone, the humped part at the back of your head.

Measure a few times to obtain a consistent size

Use the chart below to determine your headgear size

Fit Guide

Once you have measured your head, you’ll know your size and can start shopping. Keep in mind that not everyone may conform to the size chart but most people should. Also if your in between sizes it's really a toss up as to which size would be a better fit for you. as they would both fit you fine and it will come down to personal preference as to which size you would prefer.

Quick Note: the average adult circumference for men is normally around 58-59cm the average for women this number is 55-56cm.
