At 6 foot 350lbs 46 inch waist 56inch chest it has been hard to find a BJJ gi to fit me. One company told me an A5 would fit me even after I gave my measurements. I haven't been able to find anywhere else that caters for BJJ in my size, weight loss is hard enough without having the extra embarrassment of not fitting into your sports gear. So far I've ordered a belt that should fit (the years of humiliation in other martial arts where people would come up to me and tell me my belt wasn't on right, and I'd have to explain that I'm too fat for it to go around me twice, then they would say 'nonsense' and try to fix it for me and fail - meant that a properly sized belt was a top priority). Mike at Gorrilla upgraded my shipping for me for free so it'd get to me sooner and I can avoid more experiences like that! Great customer service so far has convinced me to preorder a silverback No.5 once I can figure out which size would be best for me.read more

Just ordered my second gi. First was a platinum weave silverback. I'm a big dude. It fits great, it's comfortable, and seems pretty bombproof. The belt I ordered is, by far, the nicest belt I've ever seen, and gets lots of "hey great belt - where did it come from?" comments. Bought their headgear "Tyro". It is awesome. I highly recommend their headgear. Protects your forehead and your nose, and you still have great vision. Great for sparring. Ordering was great, Mike was attentive and helpful. The color was too dark for my schools liking, so I had to send it back, it took a little time but Mike made it happen.
